I’ve been watching Fallout on Prime lately, and the sound track is just amazing. I can’t do the embed thing with the current state of the blog, but I can provide a link, so please enjoy “Crawl out Through the Fallout”!

I really enjoyed what Amazon Prime did with the Fallout IP. It’s a very fun show with good writing and good characters. Especially their take on The Ghoul and his past, and portraying the Brotherhood of Steel as just more flawed humans regardless of their religious overtones.

Reacher and The Rings of Power are a couple others they did well.
.
But they ruined The Wheel of Time, IMHO. It’s like the adaptation was written by someone who doesn’t understand the universe or characters, the casting wasn’t done particularly well, and most of the acting is flat. I had high hopes, but I was disappointed when it was released.
I haven’t watched Wheel of Time yet, but I found Rings of Power to be… meh. It didn’t have the feel I wanted, and didn’t match my (let’s be honest, decades old) memories of the Silmarillion and other texts in the background of Lord of the Rings. But it’s all fine… I figure if a television show gets even one or two people to go read a book they otherwise wouldn’t have, it’s a win. 🙂
I recently switched from my old site and I can honestly say I will never go back. The slot collection here is curated perfectly and the payout speeds are remarkable. Customer care responded to my question within minutes and walked me through everything patiently. It is rare to find this level of dedication these days. mxganaspin
