A question about upcoming articles.

Hey all, I’ve been considering a variety of topics for the next few weeks. With spring rapidly coming, I could talk about gardening, and explain how to start seeds indoors, and all the stuff that goes along with making a functioning garden that will provide actual food. I could write about raising chickens (and/or other livestock, though I have less experience with non-chicken livestock) and what that takes. I could go into how one makes staples, like bread, cheese, butter, and the like. I could talk about mending and making clothing, blankets, and such.

What do you all want to hear about? My gut says go with gardening, but I also want to write what is of interest and useful to y’all.

Gardening is good by me; although livestock raising is interesting as well.

    Spring means planting.
Given the choice, I would like to hear about bread/baking, and mending clothes during the dark cold months.

I don’t have a big backyard, so gardening in small spaces would be of particular interest to me. I’d also like to try my hand at cheese and butter!

  4. Gardening in a chicken context would be neat. Composting the coop clean-out and considerations about where/how to apply it for plants. Considerations for keeping chickens out of the garden. Plants for feeding chickens and synergies such as “3 sisters” planting. Herb gardening and fermentation are also questions, along with how you naturally deter pests.
These are the thoughts that came to mind but I’m sure I will enjoy reading anything and everything!
