I hit up TikTok in the evenings for ten minutes, mostly for the comedy, but sometimes from “news on the ground.” Last night was comedy. So good, I need to share it!

The funny thing (no pun intended) is some of the jokes were things I would disagree with. But, I understand it is humor.
Instead of getting up and walking out, I would chuckle, and wait for the jokes I did enjoy. But.. not the leftist girls in the second vid. Nope, they had to leave.

One time, ages ago, I went to see George Carlin. It was during the Bush Jr. administration, and he insisted on bringing up the wars every few minutes. (Iraq and Afghanistan) And, it really got in the way of that part of the show. But, instead of leaving, I let it slide, and enjoyed the funny parts.

I guess that is the adult thing to do. I do not really know. Still waiting to grow up.
Yep. Sometimes, you don’t “get” someone else’s humor. That’s okay… you wait. You wouldn’t be there if you didn’t like SOME of it. Another one I like listening to is Jeff Dunham. He cracks me up. He’s conservative, and unapologetic about it. And once in a while he goes a bit too far for my tastes… so I wait. Because in a couple of minutes, he’ll reach stuff I find funny.

Here’s the thing… When I don’t find something funny, I take the time to ask myself why. Why didn’t I find something funny when others were laughing at it? It might be a fundamental difference of opinion, and that’s okay. But it might be I’m butthurt over something that I haven’t addressed, and that is NOT okay.

I did love the first guy’s “Jesus as Trump” skit, though. I about choked when he started talking about the branzino. LOL
