We are having Friendsgiving this evening. It is a small gathering of around 16 people. It could be as high as 20 but still on the small size.
Many of you, I’m sure, had Thanksgiving on Thursday.
What was the most uncomfortable subject you dealt with? Did you have to deal with NPCs spouting the talking point of the day or did you escape that part of hell that the Left has turned Thanksgiving into?

I got lucky, and escaped that particular hell. While we did spend the day with friends all over the political aisle, the most… intense… not the right word… issue we discussed was religious belief versus atheism. Are humans moral beings created by a supreme being, and where do those morals come from? Or are we just the product of random chance and evolution. What are the consequences of either position? It all started when one person talked about Jordan Peterson, and someone brought up a secularist and they started discussing the opposing positions. (Forget the name of the other guy… Harris or something like that.)
.
Interestingly, the discussion was primarily between two rather religious people. A good debate, and at no point did it ever get personal in any way. And pretty much everyone at the table was able to participate.
.
Aside from that, it was talk about family, friends, work, and plans for the winter. Good food, good talks, and good friends. I won big time.
