TDS is a sickness

While scrolling through X, looking for something to write about, I stumbled on a posting regarding Trump’s annual physical and its results.

/Trump’s 2025 Annual Physical Results

The post and almost all the comments are of the “It’s a fake!” or “They’re lying!”

His temperature is normal. That can’t be because it is just an average. They lied.

He scored 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment. This is a lie, everybody has seen he is cognitively impaired.

We know his height and weight are BS.

His resting heart beat is too good. It must be a lie.

He was tested on the 11th of April, but they didn’t release the results until the 13th. This proves it is a lie. They wanted time to fabricate the results.

Or my favorite, they noted the scar on his right ear but not the scars from multiple failed hair transplants. Since the assassination attempt was fake, this proves the medical report is fake as well.

Trump got a clean bill of health, since he isn’t showing any issues, it must be wrong.

These people are sick in the head. They just want him, and us, dead.

P.S. My favorite bit of TDS this week was a bunch of people looking for information about the kid that attempted to assassinate Trump. Since the monster was killed and the attempt was faked, this is another indicator that Trump faked the assassination attempt.

    It’s just Boris

Yet when we asked questions of Biden the same people completely blew us off. Even after The Debate.

I understand home team bias, but this is ridiculous.

Love the circular reasoning, by the way. A “great” example of Godel’s incompleteness theorems in real life.

  2. Expanding on Boris’ comment above, it’s like one of those riddles, where there’s two guys, one of whom always lies and the other always tells the truth.

The smart and correct course is to ask them questions and figure out which is which based on their responses.

The Leftist thing to do is to assume the one in the Team Blue shirt is telling the truth while the one in the Team Red shirt is lying. Even if they swap shirts. And then argue or fight with people who disagree based on reasoned questions and logical analysis.

    1. Except that the two guys has an easy solution. You ask either what the other would say. The answer is the opposite.

The possible answers are A and B. The correct answer is B. Lier, what will honest say. Honest will answer B. Lier will reply A. Honest, what will lier say? Lier will answer A. Honest will reply A.

The correct answer is the opposite of A, which is B.

      1. You are 100% correct, the riddle is not terribly difficult, and that’s exactly how one solves it.

But my point is, that’s not what the Left does. The Left doesn’t ask probing questions to reason out who is truthful and who is lying; the Left just believes that whoever is figuratively wearing the Team Blue shirt is telling the truth and whoever is wearing Team Red is lying.

They continue to believe this despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary and despite verifiable facts and evidence presented by Team Red (which must be lies, as evinced by the Team Red shirts).

It’s not really about the shirts; the “Team Blue” and “Team Red” shirts are just a euphemism for political orientation. It’s meant to convey that the Left will always believe the Democrat (“Team Blue”) over the Republican (“Team Red”), even when the Republican’s talking points are provably true and the Democrat’s are provably false.

    2. As an afterthought, another possibility of the Leftist train of thought:

      Two baseline given facts:
      1. We were told Biden was the very picture of physical and cognitive health.
      2. Trump’s physical and cognitive exam results are different from Biden’s.

Therefore, it must be Trump who has health problems, both physical and mental. It must be.

The problem is that while both of those baseline givens are technically true, the first one has a qualifier (“We were told”) that the simple-minded will overlook, even if contrary evidence is right before their eyes.

What they latch onto is the second given, that Trump’s results don’t match Biden’s. Because it’s Trump, different results must mean Trump is the one with failing physical and cognitive health.

I saw someone post a comment (different site, not X) that Trump caused the S&P 500 to drop from 6100 to 4100. On that particular day, the S&P was over 5600.

But, their TDS is running rampant, and they will blindly believe anything that is critical of the man, without looking it up. Seriously, it takes more time to use autocorrect than to check the current status of the S&P.

Then again, what can you expect. If Trump were to cure cancer tomorrow, Wednesday’s headlines would declare “Trump is putting thousands of doctors out of work!”
