Depression has been making it difficult to focus. There are some Supreme Court cases I should look at. There are some other cases I need to check in on.
Networking and computer stuff is a normal fall back for me. They are subjects that I can talk about without research. I just know this stuff.

X is full of TDS. People make claims as to what Trump said, then attack what they think he meant. Often when he didn’t say the things they claim he said.
People make unfounded claims.

People asking for explanations or reasons. Calmly saying they are going to ignore anything offensive. Then being offensive to anything that isn’t anti-Trump.

The hits keep coming
In 1987, the Democrats set the tone for all forthcoming republican nominations to the Supreme Court. Ted Kennedy called Robert Bork, saying “Robert Bork’s America” [would be] a land in which women would be forced into back-alley abortions, Blacks would sit at segregated lunch counters, rogue police could break down citizens’ doors in midnight raids, schoolchildren could not be taught about evolution, writers and artists could be censored at the whim of the government, and the doors of the federal courts would be shut on the fingers of millions of citizens.
It only got worse for Justice Thomas.
Today, we are seeing the left wing rollout every standard accusation possible for every Trump nominee. It is disgusting.

government period is wasteful… 6% federal government employees work 40 hours… Elon and crew want to fire a million of them.. We the People lost sight of “by the people for the people” a long time ago. gubmint has bloated and swelled ever since.
Re the nominations crap … These days I view it as similar to when the Progs call me a racist or Nazi. The words have been so overused and misapplied they have lost meaning for me.
Well, perhaps that’s not true. Instead it’s like movie critic ratings. The more unsubstantiated accusations there are, the more I tend to think they view the object of their vilification as a threat; so the more I’m likely to support the appointment (or whatever).

Curiously, most of those things are happening under the leftist administrations that Kennedy was a member of. In fact, it is the hard right conservative judges that are preventing those things.
Government agencies that could go away (or get seriously curtailed):
Department of Education. Completely erase. Let the States/Cities take that authority back.
Department of Energy. I do not know what exactly they do, and I am pretty sure most of their employees do not know either.
Environmental Protection Agency. Do not get rid of, but curtail them, seriously and strongly. Some agency needs to make sure the various environmental laws are followed (NEPA, NHPA, etc…), but auditing is appropriate, not reading every word of every environmental disclosure document and holding up the process for ages.
As to the rest…
Seriously budget cuts. Force them to focus on their missions, and nothing else. NASA’s sole involvement in the weather should be launching the satellites. Why is there a National Weather Service if NASA is the holder of weather data?
The reason for the relentless attacks is the Progressive Elites know their agenda is not accepted by the vast majority of We, the People and is in danger of extinction. Trump will make it happen.
The antidote is to turn off the news.
